The North Face耐力跑运动员Dean Karnazes 成功穿越戈壁沙漠

　　世界知名耐力跑运动员Dean Karnazes于6月成功穿越中国的戈壁沙漠，这也是本次"The North Face沙漠大满贯"的第二段比赛。中国新疆戈壁荒漠的地表沙石很多，并且该地区的温度在零下20摄氏度到零上40摄氏度之间，这样恶劣的自然环境对所有的参赛选手来说，都是一次耐力与勇气的挑战。
　　比赛过程中，Dean Karnazes使用了The North Face提供的专业装备，顺利的完成了此次穿越。赛后，他向媒体展示了这些装备，尤其介绍了他所使用的越野鞋，正是由于这双鞋子出色的设计，使得他的脚免于被恶劣的地表所伤。据悉，The North Face将于2009年在中国区内举办100公里耐力赛，Dean Karnazes表示他将会再次来到中国参加这项赛事。

The world-known endurance athlete Dean Karnazes traversed Gobi Desert in China in June. Dean Karnazes used some special equipments of The North Face brand In the traversing process. After this match, he demonstrated these equipments to the Medias and introduced the Rucky Chucky Shoes he used especially. Because of this shoes, Dean kept his feet avoid to injury by the bad surface and reached the end point. It is reported, The North Face brand will hold a 100 endurance matches in 2009, China has a part of it. Dean Karnazes expressed that he will attend this event and come to China once more.
